Bosingwa linked with summer move

Porto chairman Pinto da Costa has admitted that versatile defender Jose Bosingwa could be set for a summer switch to the Premiership. Aston Villa, Manchester United and Arsenal are all lining up an offer for the Portugal international.

"No offer has been made for Bosingwa yet," he stressed.

"Last year, Arsenal were interested in him, but this year no club have showed interest in making a millionaire offer."

It seems that Aston Villa may have jumped to the head of the queue, however, as they put Martin O'Neill is keen to add some class defenders as he is set to lose Mellberg to Juventus in the summer.
