Manchester United favourites to sign South American winger?

Manchester United are reportedly deemed favourites to acquire the signature of Hirving Lozano from PSV Eindhoven at the end of the campaign.

The Mexico international has been regularly linked with a Premier League move in the past year with United keeping a close eye on his proceedings.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, United are looking to make an initial approach to sign Lozano after knowing of the interest from Serie A giants Napoli.

The Naples outfit are currently willing to offer a package of around £34m for the attacker but United are prepared to outbid them to lure the Mexican to Old Trafford.

Lozano has bagged 17 goals and seven assists in the Eredivisie and Champions League this term following a good World Cup with Mexico, where he helped them reach the round of 16 stage.

Aside from the duo, Arsenal and Barcelona are also said to be monitoring the proceedings of the former Pachuca ace but neither have made a formal enquiry over a probable summer deal.
