Manchester United agree fee for Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United are understood to have finally reached an agreement to sign defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace this summer.

The Red Devils have shown a keen interest in signing the right-back this summer, but they were recently said to be struggling to finalise a transfer fee with the Eagles.

However, according to Daily Record's Duncan Castles, the club are said to have eventually struck a deal for the England youth international after agreeing on a record £55m sum for a right-back.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed the desire of pursuing youth British talents this summer and the club have already landed the signature of Daniel James from Swansea City.

Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff has been another player linked with the club and reports indicate that the Red Devils may propose an initial bid worth £18m to acquire his services from the Magpies.

Wan-Bissaka is currently on international duty with the England under 21s at the European Championship and the final formalities are likely to be sorted following the Young Lions' return from the tournament.
