McFadden to leave Bham?
Birmingham chairman David Gold has admitted that James McFadden may be on his way out of the club in the summer in order to cut costs - if they fail to stay in the Premiership.
Gold said: "You have to cut costs and we have plans to do that. The big-ticket items have to go. It worked well the last time."
McFadden has only been at Birmingham for six months since joining for £5 million, but Gold has revealed that the club would be unable to afford the former Everton striker's wages.
McFadden is reportedly wanted by Aston Villa and old club Everton if Birmingham are doomed to relegation.
