Copa America winner confirms transfer interest amid Arsenal link
Gremio forward Everton Soares has acknowledged that he has received an offer to leave the club amid the speculated interest from Arsenal.
The 23-year-old has been a consistent performer for Gremio in recent seasons and this has helped him become a regular with Brazil over the past 12 months.
As a result, the attacker has been touted to pursue a bigger challenge in the Premier League with Arsenal, and he has now hinted that the move could be on the cards.
"At this moment I have an offer, but I can't say the name of the club. Just like I can't promise that on Thursday I'll still be playing for Gremio, we'll see," he was quoted as saying by The Mirror.
Gremio are currently said to demand a fee of around £36m for the Copa America winner and reports indicate that the Gunners could land his services, provided they can negotiate a deal involving installments.
The Gunners are presently in the United States for their pre-season tour and they are scheduled to face Colorado Rapids in their opening friendly on Tuesday.
