N'Golo Kante speaks on Paris Saint-Germain transfer interest
Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has admitted that there was indeed an interest from Paris Saint-Germain during last summer's transfer window.
The Frenchman was regularly linked with a move to Les Parisiens earlier this year but that certainly did not happen with the midfielder remaining a key player in the Blues ranks.
In an interview with Canal +, Kante has now revealed that there was an approach from the French champions but he decided against the move as he is clearly content at the west London giants.
"Sometimes you don’t really know where you want to go, but you know what you already have. I knew I was at Chelsea and I felt good at Chelsea. On top of that, it was a footballing decision. I felt good in London and I felt happy in this project and therefore I am happy to stay here," he told.
Kante has missed different stages of the current campaign due to minor injuries but he has still impressed in the Premier League with three goals from just six appearances.
One of those goals came during the recent clash against Manchester City on the road but his efforts were not sufficient to hand the Blues with the win. The Cityzens picked up a 2-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
