United to miss out on Sancho this summer

Manchester United are reportedly not in a position to meet the transfer demands of Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho.

The England international has been in fine form for the German outfit and he has amassed 14 goals and 15 assists from just 24 league outings.

It has previously been claimed that he has agreed to provisional personal terms with United but it appears unlikely that the Red Devils will sign him.

According to Evening Standard, the Red Devils are not in a position to pay more than £60m for the attacker, even if they raise funds from player sales.

It is added that Dortmund won't reduce their £100m price tag for Sancho and they are prepared to wait for another year in order to receive offers close to their asking price.

Sancho made a substitute appearance for Dortmund on Saturday afternoon where they secured a comfortable 4-0 win over Schalke 04 in the Revierderby.

They are now just one point behind league leaders Bayern Munich in the standings, though the table-toppers have a game in hand against Union Berlin on Sunday.
