Borussia Dortmund expecting record bid from Manchester United for Jadon Sancho

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly anticipating a club-record bid of £109m from Manchester United for the services of Jadon Sancho.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a superb 2019/2020 season with Dortmund where he has bagged 20 goals and 20 assist across all competitions.

He has been touted to join the Red Devils in recent months, but so far, the club have yet to make a formal approach to land his signature.

A recent report suggested that United may be reluctant to pay more than £50m for Sancho amid the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, BILD claims that Dortmund are expecting the Red Devils to meet their £109m price tag for Sancho in the next transfer window.

United are said to be eyeing at least three signings ahead of next season and the majority of their budget could be spent on Sancho.

They are currently goal difference adrift of the top four, but they have their Champions League destiny in their own hands with three games to play.

Meanwhile, they can also qualify for the elite competition by winning the Europa League. Sancho's arrival may be entirely dependent on this.
