Manchester United cool interest in Jadon Sancho?

Manchester United could cool their interest in signing Jadon Sancho amid the progress of Shola Shoretire in their academy.

The Red Devils were heavily linked with Sancho's services this summer, but a deal failed to materialise after they refused to meet Borussia Dortmund's £108m price tag.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still said to be keen on signing the England international, but a report from The Mirror claims that the hierarchy may decide against a fresh approach.

Shoretire is widely regarded as one of the best young players coming through the United ranks and the board believe that the 16-year-old could turn out to be the next Sancho.

The teenager became the UEFA Youth League's youngest-ever player last year at the age of 14 years and 314 days. The club have already offered him a pre-contract to turn professional on his 17th birthday.
