Chelsea and Liverpool keen on signing Michael Olise

Liverpool and Chelsea have entered the race to sign highly-rated Reading Michael Olise, a report from TEAMtalk claims.

The teenager is regarded as one of the bright young talents outside of the Premier League and he has impressed this term with two goals and three assists from 10 outings.

He was on the radar of Arsenal, Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this summer and it is now reported that Liverpool and Chelsea have joined the pursuit of his services.

The 18-year-old was previously in the youth ranks of both Chelsea and Manchester City. He left the academy of the Cityzens back in 2016 to join the Championship outfit.

Since his debut in March 2019, the Frenchman has made 37 appearances in all competitions. He has impressed with his versatility to play anywhere in the final third of the pitch.

Olise has started in all, but one league game for the Royals this term. He is expected to feature for the club when they host Preston North End on Wednesday night.
