Manchester United to turn down David Alaba?
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no plans to make additions to the squad during the January transfer window.
The Red Devils have experienced a stop-start campaign, but they are still third in the Premier League with 27 points on the board.
A recent report claimed that United could swoop for the services of Alaba, whose Bayern Munich contract expires at the end of the season.
However, The Telegraph says that Ole is comfortable with the options at hand and the club are unlikely to make a mid-season raid for the defender.
Alaba is set to part ways with the European champions after a complete breakdown in contract talks and he could yet leave midway through the campaign.
Bayern are reluctant to lose anyone on a free transfer and a number of elite European sides including Liverpool and Chelsea could move for him next month.
Alaba has been instrumental at the heart of the Bayern defence and he helped them win the treble last term. He has managed over 400 appearances for them across all competitions.
