Cavani decides to leave Man United

Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani has reportedly decided to leave Manchester United at the end of the campaign.

The 34-year-old joined the Red Devils on a free transfer last summer and he has made a solid impact with six goals from 18 outings.

His current deal expires at the end of the season, but United have the option of extending his stay for another 12 months.

The club are reluctant to trigger the clause due to his age and fitness concerns and Ole claims Cavani is prepared to leave the club.

The experienced marksman is looking for a return to South America with Boca Juniors and has made contact with club president Joan Riquelme.

Cavani is one of the highest earners at United at around £210,000-a-week. He is currently out on the sidelines with a fresh muscle issue.

The former Paris Saint-Germain star is reportedly prepared to take a significant pay-cut to make the move to the Argentine champions.
