Maguire set for new bumper Manchester United deal

Manchester United are ready to commit Harry Maguire to a new long-term contract, according to The Sun.

The England international has been a key figure for the Red Devils in defence, and the club are keen to reward him.

His current deal does not expire until June 2025, but the hierarchy are prepared to hand him a new bumper contract.

The board are ready to offer him wages of around £300,000-a-week that would make him one of the top five earners.

Talks are also planned with Bruno Fernandes over an improved deal while the club are optimistic of keeping Pogba.

Pogba has entered the final nine months of his contract, but the club are positive about committing him to a new deal.

It is claimed that he could sign a fresh contract worth around £350,000-a-week. A deal could be finalised before January.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on him. United are keen to sort out the midfielder's future at the earliest.
