Arsenal could reportedly revive their interest in RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku this summer.

The France international was heavily linked with the Gunners in 2019 before he made the switch to RB Leipzig.

He has since progressed into a quality attacking midfielder. There are no surprises that he is attracting interest.

According to RMC Sport, Nkunku is being closed watched by the Gunners with his contract expiring in June 2024.

Leipzig have no plans of selling him this summer, but their resolve could be tested if a significant offer is made.

The Gunners are likely to prioritise the signing of strikers this summer, and an attacking midfielder does not seem a necessity.

However, Nkunku has been a long-term target for the Gunners, and they may be tempted to return for his services.

Nkunku has been in stellar form this campaign, registering 18 goals and 13 assists from just 30 appearances in all competitions.

He is valued at around £49.5m by Transfermarkt, but Leipzig are bound to demand a higher fee if they decide to sanction his sale.
