Bruno Fernandes praises Casemiro after Man Utd draw vs Chelsea

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes heaped praise on Casemiro following his late equaliser against Chelsea in the Premier League.

The Red Devils were on the verge of their fourth defeat of the league campaign, but managed to salvage a draw with a 94th minute equaliser.

Casemiro leaped high from a brilliant Luke Shaw cross to make it 1-1 at Stamford Bridge and Fernandes was undoubtedly delighted for him.

He said: "It was a great cross from Luke Shaw and a great header by Casemiro. We know he has that, he scored many goals against Real Madrid. It was a fantastic goal."

Casemiro had a difficult beginning to his Red Devils career. He was constantly on the bench with Scott McTominay starting ahead of him.

However, he is now clearly the number one choice for the holding midfield role and showed a different dimension to his game against the Blues.

The Brazilian was known for scoring key goals for Real Madrid and did something similar for United with a dramatic equaliser at the Bridge.
