Man Utd confident of agreeing new contracts with key duo

Manchester United are confident of agreeing new deals with Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot, according to 90min.

The Red Devils have been impressive in the Premier League over the past few months and they are just one point behind the top four.

Marcus Rashford has played a pivotal role in the run with four goals and two assists. His confidence has been revived under Erik ten Hag.

Similarly, Diogo Dalot has looked a different player under the Dutchman. He has made the right-back position his own this campaign.

The Portuguese has three goal contributions so far, but he has also caught the eye with his ability to win regular duels as well as clearances.

According to 90min, it is reported that the club have now opened talks with the duo and are confident of extending their respective contracts.

Rashford and Dalot have entered the final year of their deals, but the club have the option to extend their stays by another whole campaign.

Instead of triggering the clause, the hierarchy are optimistic of committing the duo to long-term deals before the beginning of the New Year.
