Arsenal expected to sign Juventus target in January
Arsenal are expected to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Gunners have been long-term admirers of the Ukrainian and they have been tipped to land his services this winter.
A deal worth £40 million plus add-ons has been proposed and the club are confident that a transfer will go through soon.
According to TuttoJuve, Juventus are also interested in Mudryk, but the Gunners are clear favourites to sign him in January.
The Bianconeri have reportedly accepted defeat and barring any late surprises, Mudryk will be an Arsenal player at the start of 2023.
Mudryk has had an excellent season so far with 10 goals and eight assists from just 18 games. He has impressed in Europe.
The 21-year-old is capable of playing on either wing, but tends to prefer the left wing. He could be Gabriel Martinelli's competitor.
Mudryk has already hinted that he would like to join the Gunners and the club will be hoping to land him on January 1 itself.
