Chelsea midfielder already in contact with Barcelona

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has already begun talks with Barcelona over a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Frenchman has been struggling with a hamstring injury this term and he may not return to action for another three months.

Amidst this, it has been reported that Chelsea don't plan to renew his contract and he can leave for nothing when his deal expires next summer.

Meanwhile, Kante is free to discuss personal terms with foreign clubs in January, but Sport claim that he has already spoken with Barcelona.

The midfielder has finalised preliminary details for a long-term deal and he is set to join them next summer, provided he can stay unscathed.

Aside from Kante, his Blues teammate Jorginho has also been linked with a move to Camp Nou. The Blaugrana are closely following him.

Jorginho is about to enter the final six months of his contract, and Barcelona will be hoping to land his services on a free transfer as well.
