Noni Madueke joins Chelsea

Chelsea have sealed the signing of 20-year-old attacking midfielder Noni Madueke from PSV Eindhoven, with the player signing a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge. The former Crystal Palace and Tottenham youth player arrives at the Blues with a growing reputation, having scored 11 goals in 51 games in the Eredivisie over three seasons.
It is understood that Chelsea have paid almost 40 million euros to sign Madueke, who leaves the club as the second largest transfer fee received for the Dutch club. The Blues have been highly active in the January transfer window. The player has linked up with two other new faces at the club, in Benoit Badiashile and Mykhaylo Mudryk. The Blues have spent close to 200 million euros so far in the January transfer window, and their strategy on the market appears to be signing the world's best young talent to long-term deals. Mudryk signed a 7-and-a-half year deal, with Badiashile joining for an even longer term.
The youngster told the Chelsea official website after signing a deal: "To return to England and play in the Premier League is a dream for me and my family and I can’t wait to get started. I am excited for what the future holds, the owner's vision for the future and to be at a club like this and winning at the highest level."
