Arsenal handed big boost in signing Moussa Diaby

Arsenal have been handed a huge boost in signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby this summer, according to Bild.

The Gunners were keen on landing the Frenchman in the last transfer window following their failure to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk.

However, Leverkusen made it clear that he was not for sale. As a result, the club signed Leandro Trossard but they could return for Diaby.

According to Bild, Leverkusen are planning a mega sale spree this summer amid their hugely disappointing league season thus far.

They are ready to offload their prized assets and Diaby is one of those that could head for the exit door in the next transfer window.

Leverkusen valued the versatile ace at €100m last summer, but they are likely to accept significantly less for him this time around.

The Gunners are still said to be keeping tabs on the 23-year-old and could make a genuine effort to sign him at the end of the season.
