Manchester United have identified Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong as a replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

Wan-Bissaka has played a regular role following the World Cup and he has also earned praise from manager Erik ten Hag.

Despite this, the former Crystal Palace man is expected to be sold with Ten Hag eyeing a more attack-minded right-back.

The Dutchman is keen on providing more competition for Diogo Dalot and Frimpong is regarded as the perfect acquisition.

According to Fabrizio Romano, United are keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old, who already has 12 goal contributions this term.

Frimpong has excelled going forward for Leverkusen, but he has also been splendid with his defensive involvements for them.

The former Celtic man likes to make crunch tackles as well as win duels. He could be signed for around €26 million this summer.

Aside from United, Inter Milan and Barcelona are said to be keeping tabs on Frimpong, who was in the Manchester City academy.
