Liverpool bid £8m for Foggia

Pasquale Foggia is the subject of an £8m bid from Liverpool. The Cagliari midfielder was called up for Italy by Donadoni recently for Euro 2008 Qualifiers. The player is on loan at Cagliari but his contract is owned by Lazio.

It is believed that Liverpool may have to up their bid for the ex-AC Milan player to around £12m.

Gazzetta Dello Sport have revealed that Foggia is wanted by Liverpool, but other media outlets in Italy are suggesting that Juventus and Inter Milan are also closely monitoring Foggia's situation.
