Chelsea in contact with Neymar's representatives

Chelsea are in contact with the representatives of Neymar over a surprise transfer, according to RMC Sport.

The Brazil international has been a consistent performer for Les Parisiens. Last season, he bagged 18 goals and 17 assists from just 29 games.

He still has two years left on his contract with the French champions, but Chelsea are currently exploring an audacious swoop for his services.

Contact has already been made with the player's camp and RMC Sport claim that Les Parisiens are willing to consider a proposal for the Brazilian.

The Ligue 1 giants could be prepared to accept a loan offer on the table with an obligation to buy, provided the Blues meet his wages in full.

Neymar is currently valued at around €60m by Les Parisiens. He would be a huge statement signing for Chelsea if they can persuade him to join.

There is presently no interest from anywhere else, but Barcelona could contemplate re-signing him if he is willing to accept a huge pay-cut.
