Chelsea confirm loan exit of Angelo Gabriel
Chelsea have confirmed the departure of Angelo Gabriel on loan to sister club Strasbourg.
The Brazilian joined the Blues from Santos earlier this summer, and he was impressive in the pre-season campaign.
Despite this, the club have decided to loan him out to Strasbourg to gain valuable experience over the new season.
This leaves the Blues with only Noni Madueke as a specialist right winger and they are bound to invest on another.
Ajax's Mohammed Kudus has been linked with the club in recent weeks, but the Blues have yet to make a proposal.
The west London giants also hold an interest in signing Crystal Palace's Michael Olise, but he is currently injured.
He has a release clause worth £35 million on his contract that can be triggered, but the Blues prefer to wait on him.
They are looking to find out the extent of his hamstring injury before considering whether to trigger his buy-out clause.
Manchester City are set to provide competition for the Frenchman.
