Sofyan Amrabat speaks over his Manchester United future
Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has opened the door to staying with Manchester United for the long-term.
The 27-year-old was heavily linked with the Red Devils throughout the summer and he eventually joined them on deadline day.
United could not afford the transfer fee due to FFP issues, but they found a solution by signing him on loan with an option to buy.
Amrabat joined the club with a back problem, but he has now made two appearances. His full debut came against Crystal Palace yesterday.
Speaking to The Times, Amrabat has now opened the door to a permanent stay. United have the option to purchase him next summer.
He said: "Of course, I would love to stay here, but I don't look too far in the future. For me, today, I am a Manchester United player."
Amrabat has operated at left-back in his first two appearances for the club, and he could continue there amid the ongoing injury crisis.
