Man Utd & Chelsea handed boost in signing Brighton star

Manchester United and Chelsea have been handed a boost in signing Brighton & Hove Albion winger Kaoru Mitoma at the end of the season.

Mitoma has been one of the best performing wingers in the top-flight and he has registered nine goal contributions from 25 games this term.

His progress has caught the eye of United and Chelsea. Football Transfers claim that the duo could pursue his signature during the summer.

Brighton have recently reached an agreement to land Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaelland and he is touted to replace Mitoma in the squad.

The Seagulls are still expected to demand a significant price and won't accept less than £60 million to part ways with the Japan international.

Both United and Chelsea are loaded with wingers in their squad and there could be potential exits before they can invest in the Brighton ace.

The likes of Antony and Facundo Pellistri could be sold by United while Chelsea could offload Noni Madueke in the next transfer window.
