Man Utd willing to spend €60m plus to sign Brazilian star

Manchester United are willing to spend more than €60 million to sign Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer this summer.

The Red Devils are on the hunt for a new central defender with Raphael Varane touted to leave on a free transfer this year.

Varane's contract expires at the end of June and United have decided against triggering an extension clause to keep him for another season.

His exit could pave the way for a high-profile addition and it is claimed that Bremer is the fundamental requirement for the Red Devils.

Juventus only recently committed him to a new long-term deal, but the Serie A outfit don't consider anyone in the squad as unsellable.

With the need to balance their books, the club need a high-profile exit and are willing to part ways with Bremer for the right proposal.

United are prepared to make an offer hard to refuse for the Bianconeri. It is claimed that a proposal of more than €60m could be sufficient.
