Man Utd enter race to sign 23yo Italian defender
Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Torino defender Raoul Bellanova during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have had a poor campaign by their high standards and face a huge challenge to qualify for the Champions League.
Regardless of this, there will be plenty of investment in the summer and a new right-back could be signed to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Wan-Bissaka has been out for most of the campaign with injury concerns and he is likely to be sold with his contract expiring next year.
Fichajes claim that Bellanova has been identified as a suitable replacement. The Italian generally operates from the right wing-back role.
He has six goal involvements, but has also impressed with ball recoveries and ability to make progressive runs into the final third.
United are, however, not alone in the pursuit with Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Newcastle United also in the mix.
Hence, the Red Devils will need to be pro-active to land him.
