Adriano Correira to Tottenham

Juande Ramos could be set to raid his former club for highly rated Brazilian full back Adriano Correira. Ramos is reportedly unimpressed with the progress of Gilberto since he arrived from Hertha Berlin, and is keen to bring in another defender.

Adriano Correira is one of the brightest young defenders in Spain, and Tottenham may have to break the bank to bring him to the club.

Reportedly, Spurs will need to pay up to £9 million to land Correira, who is also being monitored closely by Real Madrid and AS Roma.

Adriano is capable of playing either left back or left wing, and has been at Sevilla since 2004 and has been one of the most improved performers this year for the Sevillista.
