Kamory Doumbia linked with Bournemouth move
Bournemouth have been impressed with the performances of Reims' attacking midfielder Kamory Doumbia, and have sent their top scout to monitor the attacking midfielder in action. Having emerged into the French club's first-team during the 2022 campaign, the 21-year-old has developed into an important member of the squad and will now possibly move to the Premier League.
Doumbia has also appeared for his country, Mali, and has appeared 18 times with an outstanding contribution of 8 goals. The player came through the youth ranks in Mali for Guidars, and joined Reims back in 2021. Last season an impressive loan spell with Brest followed, and now Reims look set to cash in on the 5 foot 7 creative outlet.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is looking for midfield additions this summer on top priority, and the Mali star is one name but alternatives have been mentioned.
The player is valued at around 15 million euros by his parent club, and has around two years remaining on his deal in France. Bournemouth could have to battle with newly promoted Ipswich Town to secure the Malian player's signature.
