SWP wants Chelsea stay

Chelsea star Shaun Wright Phillips has admitted he is likely to stay at Stamford Bridge, despite rumours linking the England winger with a move to Newcastle or Aston Villa this summer.

Since arriving from Man City, SWP has found his opportunities in the first-team limited.

“I will definitely be at Chelsea next season," said the 26-year-old when pressed on the rumours.

“Speculation has been like this since I was at Manchester City.

"I have signed a contract and I’m here to see it out."
