Fabrizio Romano confirms Man Utd interest in English winger

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Manchester United are one of the clubs interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze next year.

The Red Devils were strongly interested in landing Michael Olise from the Eagles over the summer, but he chose to join Bayern Munich instead.

Eze has also been on their radar for some time and speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano has acknowledged that United are among his admirers.

The reputed journalist added that the Mancunian giants want to invest in a winger in 2025 and Eze is one of those who they have been scouting.

He said: "A lot of clubs are keeping a close eye on Eberechi Eze, with many scouting the player, including Manchester United.

"Man United want to invest in a winger in 2025, but they have not decided who it is going to be, so let’s wait and see.

"But for sure, Eze is one of the players they have been scouting."

United are not alone in the pursuit of the England international and they could face competition from Arsenal as well as Tottenham Hotspur.

Palace are likely to demand in the region of £60m for his sale.
