Arsenal prepared to hand new contract to winger
Arsenal are prepared to discuss an improved contract with Belgian winger Leandro Trossard, according to Daily Mail.
Trossard has been a revelation for the Gunners since his arrival from Brighton & Hove Albion at the beginning of last year.
He has made several key goal contributions and Arsenal are prepared to reward him for his efforts with a renewal.
Trossard's form has not been the best in recent weeks, but the Gunners are still keen to commit him to another long-term deal.
He currently earns a weekly package of around £90,000 and Arsenal are ready to hand him more than £100,000 going forward.
It remains to be seen whether Trossard will consider the proposal, given a number of Saudi Pro League clubs are monitoring him.
Al-Ittihad in particular are keen on landing his signature and they are prepared to make a fresh offer in the region of £35m.
Arsenal have no plans of entertaining the proposal in January. They could consider Trossard's exit next summer if he rejects a new deal.
