Man Utd midfielder to be dropped by Ruben Amorim?
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has hinted that Manuel Ugarte could start on the bench against Nottingham Forest tomorrow.
The Uruguay international started alongside Bruno Fernandes in midfield against Arsenal on Wednesday. He was brilliant with nine duels won.
The former PSG man also completed 92 percent of his passes and he was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch for the Red Devils.
Despite this, Amorim has hinted that he could drop to the bench on Saturday as his recovery levels are not the same as Fernandes for example.
He said: "Bruno Fernandes, you feel it, against Arsenal, in the end, he was a little bit tired but you know he is going to recover very well.
"Manuel Ugarte, I've known for so long, I know that he needs sometimes a little bit more time."
In the absence of Ugarte, Casemiro seems the front-runner for the number six role. He could be accompanied by Kobbie Mainoo who is back after suspension.
Fernandes was impressive in a central midfield position against the Gunners, but he could return in his preferred number 10 role.
