Renato Veiga makes fresh decision on Chelsea future
Chelsea defender Renato Veiga is reluctant to consider a permanent move away from the Blues during the current transfer window.
The Portuguese joined the Blues from Basel last summer and he has sparingly been used from the left-back position by manager Enzo Maresca.
Veiga prefers to operate from a central defensive role in future and this has spread speculation that he could head for the exit door soon.
Borussia Dortmund are interested in landing his services, but reports claim that the defender will only accept a loan deal until the summer.
The 21-year-old has not given up on securing the role at Chelsea. He is prepared to gain experience on loan before returning to the Blues.
Veiga is part of the matchday squad for tonight's Premier League game against Bournemouth, but he could be loaned out in the near future.
Aside from him, Christopher Nkunku is anticipated to depart. The Frenchman is eyeing a permanent transfer to Bayern Munich.
