Man Utd quoted fresh price to sign Danish sensation
Manchester United have been told to pay €40 million including add-ons to sign Lecce left wing-back Patrick Dorgu.
The Red Devils are determined to bolster the left wing-back role in the current transfer window amid Diogo Dalot's inconsistency.
Dorgu is the priority target for manager Ruben Amorim, but reports claim that Lecce have no plans to negotiate on the transfer fee.
The Red Devils recently made a renewed offer in excess of €30m, but the proposal was swiftly knocked back by the Serie A outfit.
Lecce are aware of the growing interest in the Danish sensation. Napoli have also made contact, but are yet to make an official bid.
The Serie A leaders are open to the possibility of Dorgu staying at Lecce on loan this term if they secure a transfer agreement this winter.
Dorgu has already agreed terms with United for a transfer, but he is unlikely to force through an exit unless a transfer deal is finalised.
