Chelsea planning swoop for Spanish sensation?

Chelsea are reportedly one of the clubs interested in signing Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen this summer.

The Blues have had plenty of concerns in the backline and they are expected to recruit another marquee centre-back.

Huijsen has been brilliant since his move to the Cherries from Juventus. The Blues are now keen on bringing him to London.

The Cherries have no plans of parting ways with the Spain youth international, but he has a release clause in his deal.

Any Premier League club can sign him for around £50 million. The price should not be a hurdle for the Blues this summer.

The Blues are not alone in the pursuit of the former Roma man. Liverpool and Manchester United are also monitoring him.

Huijsen is currently happy with proceedings in the South Coast, but he is open to considering a bigger challenge elsewhere.

Bournemouth's chances of keeping him could increase if they were to qualify for the Champions League this campaign.
