Liverpool and Chelsea want to sign English playmaker?

Liverpool and Chelsea are among contenders to sign Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze this summer, according to Caught Offside.
The England international has been in superb form for the Eagles this campaign. He has registered 13 goals and 11 assists from 41 outings.
Eze's progress in the number 10 role has caught the eye of several English clubs. Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly among the front-runners to sign him.
The Reds have already sealed an agreement for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong and they are also expected to land Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.
An attacking midfielder could be prioritised next and Eze is one of the top names on their radar. The Blues are also exploring a deal as they look to add more competition.
Palace are open to parting ways with the 26-year-old, provided they receive the player's £70 million release clause in full. That could be a stumbling block towards a transfer.
Unless Palace are willing to negotiate on payment terms, a deal seems unlikely over the summer.
