Chelsea have discussed move for Alejandro Garnacho
Chelsea have discussed the possibility of signing Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho during the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.
The Argentina international fell out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim earlier this year and he is expected to leave the Red Devils in the coming weeks.
Garnacho prefers to continue his career in the Premier League and it has emerged that the Blues are discussing the possibility of bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are aware of United's interest in signing Christopher Nkunku and the club are prepared to negotiate separate deals involving the Frenchman and Garnacho.
There have been no official bids made by either club, but there could be some activity in the coming weeks depending on what the teams require.
United are discussing the transfer of Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, but the Bees are reluctant to accept the latest offer on the table - £62.5m
If the stand-off continues, they could negotiate for Nkunku instead.
