Chelsea ready to sell Christopher Nkunku to Man Utd for £35m?
Chelsea are prepared to reduce their demands for Christopher Nkunku amid interest from Manchester United, according to The Mirror.
The Blues recently received a hefty fine (£15m) for breaching UEFA's Squad Cost Rules. They face a further £51m punishment if they repeat the offence.
This could pave the way for multiple exits in the coming weeks. The focus could be on offloading the high earners to reduce the wage bill.
Mirror now claim that United are keen on landing Nkunku from the Blues and they could receive a discount on the France international.
Chelsea were initially aiming to recoup at least £51m from the attacker's sale, but could now be open to selling him for just £35m.
The news is a huge boost for the Red Devils. United boss Ruben Amorim is a big admirer of the attacker despite his struggles at Chelsea.
Nkunku has struggled leading the line for the Blues. He is most comfortable as a number 10 and could play there if he joins United.
