Napoli enter talks with Man Utd for striker

Hojlund to Napoli?

Napoli have reportedly entered talks with Manchester United to sign striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer.

The Dane has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Red Devils and he is expected to leave in the coming days.

AC Milan are in discussions for the young marksman and they prefer to sign him on loan with an option to purchase.

Amidst this, Napoli have entered the pursuit of the 22-year-old following a long-term injury for Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian has picked up a thigh injury and reports claim that he will be sidelined for the next three months at least.

Napoli want Hojlund as cover on loan and it remains to be seen whether United will consider the proposal from them.

The Red Devils are holding out for £40m for his transfer, but could also entertain a loan deal for a significant sum.

Napoli and Milan look set to battle it out for the former Atalanta man before the transfer deadline.
