Napoli, Inter and Roma in race for Hojlund

Hojlund to join Italian side?

Manchester United have given Rasmus Hojlund permission to leave the club, but a deal to AC Milan appears to have fallen through as the Rossoneri have instead signed Victor Boniface on loan from Bayer Leverkusen. That leaves Napoli, Roma and Inter Milan in the race to sign the Danish striker.

Hojlund is available for a permanent transfer, with United favouring a fee as they look to recoup money for the former Atalanta striker. It is understood that Man Utd want £35 million for the forward, but would accept anything in that general region.

It is understood that Roma are in pole position to sign Hojlund though as they have submitted the largest offer, but Inter Milan and Napoli are also options having made a loan bid for the forward.

United have signed Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, leaving Hojlund as a reserve and unlikely to appear on a regular basis for the Old Trafford outfit.

Hojlund scored 14 goals in 62 games in the Premier League, and played 32 times for Atalanta scoring nine goals.
