Arsenal to sign another player after Kiwior & Zinchenko exits

Arsenal could pursue a new defender in the transfer market after the departures of Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer.

Kiwior has his sights on regular playing time and he is reportedly keen on moving away from the Premier League in the prime of his career.

Porto are negotiating with the Gunners, and a loan with an obligation to buy could be agreed this week, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Zinchenko was the subject of interest from Fenerbahce earlier in the summer and they could yet return for his services before the transfer deadline.

Fabrizio Romano now reports that Arsenal will enter the transfer market for a new defender if the duo were to depart before the window closes.

The Gunners hold a strong interest in Rennes starlet Jeremy Jacquet, but it is unclear whether the French outfit will sell at this point in time.

Arsenal have so far made seven summer signings and are expected to confirm the purchase of teenager Victor Ozhianvuna this week.
