Chelsea may not sign both Garnacho and Simons
Chelsea may not sign both Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons this summer unless they recoup sufficient funds from player sales, according to Sky Sports.
The Blues have already bolstered their attack with the purchases of Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro. They are aiming for two more attacking additions before the transfer window closes on September 1.
Garnacho and Simons have agreed personal terms with the Blues, but there is no guarantee that both of them will join at the current point in time.
Sky Sports claim that the Blues are actively looking to offload Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku and Tyrique George from their ranks.
Unless all three are offloaded, the club may not sign both Garnacho and Simons. If there are one or two exits, the Blues could pursue a deal for only one attacker.
Chelsea have picked up four points after two games into the new league campaign. They are scheduled to host Fulham at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
