Man Utd told to pay £70m to sign PL midfielder

Manchester United will reportedly need to pay £70 million to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, according to Football Insider.
The Red Devils have had a poor start to the Premier League campaign and have picked up only four points after four games into the season.
The club are still lacking quality in the heart of the midfield. They are likely to spend big on a marquee solution when the transfer window reopens.
Brighton & Hove Albion's Carlos Baleba was on their radar over the summer, but United are unlikely to afford an outlay of £100m this winter.
Instead, they are looking at quality alternatives such as Anderson, but the 22-year-old won't come on the cheap amid his immense progress.
Forest signed the talented midfielder from Newcastle United for £35m last year and they are expected to demand double the price for a sale.
Anderson would welcome the opportunity to join the Red Devils in January, and the onus is on the Red Devils to try and settle a possible deal.
