Eriksson to learn his fate soon

Man City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson will know his fate at the club in or around mid-June, according to one of Thaksin Shinawatra's partners who is helping him build the club.

Eriksson has been linked with a move to become the new Mexico boss, but as yet this has not been confirmed.

Meanwhile, a host of names have been linked with the Man City job should Eriksson leave, including Portugal boss Luis Felipe Scolari.

Pairoj Piempongsant, a Thai businessman helping Shinawatra run City, has revealed that a decision will be made on Eriksson's future shortly: "The negotiations must be complete by 15th June, which include the team manager."
