Man Utd make Robert Lewandowski transfer decision

United won't sign Lewandowski

Manchester United have no plans of pursuing a deal for Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski at the end of the campaign, according to Sunday Mirror.

The Red Devils bolstered their attack with Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko last summer, and the trio have made notable impacts.

Mbeumo recently scored a brace in the 4-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion while Cunha bagged his maiden goal for the Red Devils in the same game.

Sesko did not find the back of the net, but produced an assist.

Despite this, Amorim has his sights on adding more quality to the ranks and believes Lewandowski's arrival would benefit his squad next season.

However, co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has declined the request and does not want to make a similar mistake made in the past by the Red Devils.

United have previously signed players on huge wages which has cost them financially.

With Lewandowski on £540,000 per week, Ratcliffe has no desire to bringing him to Old Trafford when his deal expires next summer.
