'It's painful': Enzo Maresca confirms fresh Chelsea injury blow

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed a fresh injury blow ahead of the Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday night.
The Blues have been inconsistent this campaign and they recently drew 2-2 against Qarabag in the Champions League. They were favourites for the encounter.
The west Londoners will host Wolves in the league this weekend and ahead of the game, Maresca has revealed that Romeo Lavia won't play any part after a new injury.
He said: "We don't have an update at the moment, so we need to wait to see some hours to do all the checks. It's painful, so we need to do the checks."
Lavia has had an injury-plagued career with the Blues. Maresca has tried to handle him with extra caution, but the Belgian has once again sustained another injury.
Judging by the need for extra examination, we won't be surprised if he is sidelined for some period of time. He may not return until the turn of the year, as per reports.
