Arne Slot confirms massive injury boost for Man City clash

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed a massive injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Merseyside giants ended a four-match losing league streak with an impressive 2-0 win over Aston Villa at Anfield last weekend.
They now face a stern challenge against high-flying Man City on the road. Ahead of the game, Slot has confirmed a huge injury boost.
Slot said that Isak will train with the squad for the first time in three weeks. He hinted that the Swede could be restricted to a cameo role.
Slot said: "He will train for the first time today with the team again, after being three weeks out. Although, our rehab team is doing an incredible job."
"But you cannot compare rehab with games of football or training sessions with the team. As much as we try to replicate it, that's simply not possible.
"So, again I have to say, give him some time."
Hugo Ekitike is poised to lead the line against the Cityzens on Sunday, but Isak could be an X-factor off the bench during the second half.
Liverpool are already seven points behind leaders Arsenal, and they can't afford to drop more points against the Cityzens this weekend.
Anything less than a win would hamper their title defence further.
