Chelsea midfielder out of international duty with knee injury

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has confirmed that he won't be travelling with Argentina for the upcoming international friendlies.
The Blues star has been nursing a knee injury for the past few months and it was a reason behind his early return during the last international break.
Fernandez has now revealed that he won't be available for Argentina this month and he has decided to rest after speaking with the coaching staff.
He told ESPN: "I will not be available with Argentina. I was just talking to the medical team because I had a problem with my knee for the last 4 months.
"The coaching staff and I have decided to rest together because I don't have time to rest because there are a lot of games."
Fernandez has been a key player for the west London giants and he has formed a brilliant partnership with Moises Caicedo in the centre of the park.
The midfielder has also operated from the number 10 role on occasions. He may not need to do so after the international break with Cole Palmer poised to return.
Palmer has been nursing a groin injury for the past few weeks, but manager Enzo Maresca recently said that he could return after the next international break.
